| Computer Recycling | | Asset Recovery has agreed to an extension of the promotional where they will pay for CPUs to June 13th.
- Apple will be recycling all computer equipment including peripherals such as mice, keyboards, etc. except for CPUs, servers and laptops.
- If they have the more than 25 monitors/printers (excluding peripherals) required by Apple for site pick-up, have a place to store it for up to three months and the approval of the custodial staff, I will send out pallets and gaylord boxes to the site.
- If they have less than 25 monitors/printers they need to be transported to 1930 Como. Contact Vic Erickson at 603-5009 to coordinate transportation or have site personnel transport the equipment.
- Asset Recovery will be paying us $0.10/lb for CPUs, servers and laptops.
- If a site has over 1000 lbs (approximately 40 CPUs) they can e-mail ted.sherman@spps.org to schedule a pick-up.
- If they have less than 1000 lbs. they need to be transported to 1930 Como. Contact Vic Erickson at 603-5009 to coordinate transportation or have site personnel transport the equipment.
- Asset recovery will be picking up any other e-waste at the same time. The only requirement is that this waste be separated from the CPU's, servers and laptops. This waste can be included in reaching the 1000 lb requirement.
The Asset Recovery pick-ups do not have any storage/packaging requirements, just a contact phone # of a person who knows and has access to the equipment needing disposal. Of course the normal remove the district tag and forwarding the information to Ron Koetz is still required by building personnel.
